About Us: Lorain County Community College opened the Learning Center in 2007. It is part of the Lorain County Growth Partnership.(*see below). It is in downtown Elyria at 226 middle avenue, Elyria, Ohio 44035. (The corner of Middle Avenue & 3rd Street) The Center is located on the 5th floor of the County Administration building. We have a computer lab, classroom space, and a small lounge.

Parking: 2 parking is available on the street or 4 hour parking at the corner lot on Middle and 3rd st.

Classes: The college holds both credit and non-credit classes here throughout the year. To request a specific class please contact the center. For more information on taking classes. Click Here

Computer Lab 5th floor room 560:
The lab is open to the public and has printing capabilities. (There is no copy machine available)

Mondays & Wednesdays 2:30-4:30
Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Fridays 11:00- 2:00

Unemployed: If you a job seeker, the Learning Center's Computer Lab offers a quiet place to work with no time or printing limits.

Room 555: The GPLC offers FREE available classroom space for use by community organizations and students. If you are looking for space to hold meetings, presentations or training please contact the center. We have all the necessary equipment for presentations, webinars, and IVDL (Interactive Video Distance Learning) connections.

Catering: is offered by The Bread & Brew Gourmet Coffee Shop located in the building.
