A brief look at your LCCC SIFE

Club Awarness Week

Students in Free Enterprise:

  • Who we are: SIFE is a non-profit student organization. It is designated as a 501(c)(3)
  • What we do: SIFE students create and deliver community service projects in the following topics: entrepreneurship, finance, success skills, environment, economics, and ethics.
  • For whom we do it: We create projects for local, national, and international communities
  • Why we do it: SIFE’s purpose is twofold-helping to better communities and giving SIFE students a learning experience outside of the classroom
  • How we do it: SIFE Students form teams under the guidance of an appointed advisor. The students find a need in the community and work together to create a project to fulfill that need.
  • How we know we do it: SIFE teams carefully track results and their impact on the community.
  • What it cost to do it: Cost vary per project. Every project has an expense breakdown. The majority of the costs stem from purchasing supplies and recruiting. All SIFE students volunteer their time and seek out individuals in the community who are willing to do the same to improve the quality of life for people.
